I have been reading a book I recently bought on Frank Lloyd Wright and realized, to my amazement, that I had babysat many times in this house while I was a student at Madison in 1975-75. A young couple with a baby lived there, he was a medical resident, and they moved out of the area that summer.I thought it was the most beautiful and unusual house I had ever seen. Now I know why!! I had absolutely no idea it was one of FLW's most famous houses. It was never mentioned!

I have just finished reading Loving Frank, and used to stay at your house when Tom and Julie Walsh lived there---old UW friends of mine. It has been fun thinking about this house- it looks beautiful- from these photos.

Wonderful site to match such a wonderful piece of Architectural History! How wonderful that this is available to physically experience; I've been there numerous times - and will now start planing my next visit! Thanks for restoring it- and continue sharing it with us, the general public!

I'm a great-nephew of Herb & Katherine Jacobs. I'd visited the house years ago, long after they'd lived there, but had no idea there was this website -- it was most entertaining! I may have to stop by and take a personal tour again.

House, designed by Frank Lloyd Wight (1939), has been lovingly restored by its new owner. Charming and small by today’s standards.
